This Made in Japan trucker is cut from substantial 16oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven on vintage Sakamoto looms in Okayama. The black warp is sulfur-dyed to soften and fade with wear, while the reactive-dyed weft holds its dark tone, giving the fabric a deliberate aging character. Dark Dust stitching traces the jacket’s seams, and steel buttons, cotton-twill pocket bags and a cowhide patch reinforce its considered construction. The familiar trucker shape becomes something denser, more tactile and distinctly Rick Owens.
